The Korg Volca FM is another synthesizer in the Volca lineup. It is a small FM synthesizer with 3 note polyphony, MIDI in, a sequencer, and onboard chorus. It is compatible with the Yamaha DX7 and can be programmed using the Dexed plugin on a computer and following this. All in all, it’s a solid little synthesizer at a great price.… Read the rest
This is an old, small book from many, many years before I was born which I (fortunately) stumbled onto on a clearance rack at a used bookstore. It’s 60 pages of content, small, and has a nice cover. When I picked it up, I figured it would be a read for riding shotgun in the car.

The Korg Minilogue is a 4 voice polyphonic synthesizer. It has 37 synth keys, a sequencer, a delay, memory for presets, and an oscilloscope. It’s an amazing package overall, especially at the price point.

I’ve never had a nice drawing pad before, but I always wanted a Wacom to play around on since they were Linux compatible (and as easy as Bluetooth on Linux). I never had the money, but I took the jump on the Huion HS64. They have bigger ones and an even smaller one, but this seemed the perfect size for the area I have to work with.… Read the rest
I impulse bought these on clearance at a store when out shopping with my family. I didn’t expect them to be as good as they are either, but I wanted something relatively cheap which were better than the trash Bluetooth headphones I had bought previously. They sound great, are light, feel high quality, and last for quite a while.
These are in-ear module style headphones which have a “collar” which goes around your neck when listening.… Read the rest
